Is yours a Happy Body?

Do you talk with your body? What do you say? Do you ever even look at your body and you as being different from each other, or do you lump them together?

Our Body has more consciousness than we do really. When I say "we" I am referring to the essence, the beingness, the life force of us...and this aspect of us does not judge. Judgment and consciousness does not co-exist.

How can this be you might wonder? There is something called magnetic imprinting, which holds our energy, life force, personality, spirit, what ever name we give it, to the physical form we call our body. Call me crazy, that's ok, I've heard that before. This, difference, is why a lot of types of rehab and therapies don't work so well. They address the physical body and not the energetics that truly hold things together, or the psychological aspects which sometimes does not reflect the body.

How do I talk with my Body?

What our bodies do respond to, is what we say to them. Unfortunately mostly unconsciously. This self talk is highly effective. The judgments we constantly batter ourselves with create exactly what we are judging our selves about. Isn't that ironic?
Your body listens to you and gives you exactly what you tell it. You say, "wow, I'm fat!" and it gets heavier. "I feel like crap today"...what does that create? You say, "I'm getting old!" and it ages. "My hair is thinning..." and it complies. What if you were to say, "Hey, looking good today! How does it get better than this?" Do you suppose your body would change for the better?

Most of us treat our pets better than we do our body. What if we were to change that, and start treating our body with as much kindness and gratitude as we would for our pets or our children? We can start right now, with an apology for not listening, not honoring and not truly caring for our body.

Exercise or exorcise?

What happens when we force our body to do something? Does it say "no" in it's own way sometimes? Like getting sick or injured? When we make it do something it does not like, it usually creates a way for down time.
When we make it do an exercise it does not like, it hears exorcise and freaks out! No way - I'm not doing That! I want to stay!

What would happen if you asked your body a question?

A huge reason most diets and exercise programs do not have lasting effects is that they are forced on the body without taking into account what the Body itself would like...not kidding. Our bodies have their own sense of what they'd like to look like, for example. Really.

Honoring the body by asking it what it would like.

What would it be like to honor your body, and listen to your body when making any choices that involve it?
Like eating... What would you like to eat body?
Getting dressed... What would you like to wear?
Exercise... How would you like to move?
Sex...Who would be nurturing for you to have sex with?

I'm aware that this way of including the body in the choices we make is not a normal thing to do. Is the normal way working for you? Normal is like using a shoehorn to stuff us into a box we will Never fit in. May as well use a shovel and throw dirt onto our coffin. Are you happy? With your body & your life? Truth? If not, I can facilitate something different for you...contact me & ask me a question...
